Which personal data is collected?
In the performance of our services, we process the following types of personal data of (poultry-)livestock farmers and RMO drivers:
- name and address details;
- telephone number(s);
- date of birth (only RMO drivers and employees);
- photos (the COKZ attempts to avoid individuals appearing in photos that may be taken on location during an inspection or audit, but cannot rule this out);
- possible notes on inappropriate behavior for the protection of own personnel in the context of checks and inspections;
- name of veterinarian related to the livestock farmer;
- email address.
From applicants:
- name and address details;
- email address;
- curriculum vitae;
- cover letter;
- optional telephone number;
- notes.
Applicant data is not retained and is deleted no later than one month after the vacancy closes. The Curriculum Vitae is stored for a maximum of one year only with the applicant’s consent.
Security of personal data
The COKZ treats personal data confidentially and with the utmost care. Stored personal data is accessible only to COKZ employees to the extent necessary for the performance of their duties. The COKZ protects its data against loss and/or against any form of unlawful use or unlawful processing. In doing so, the COKZ employs appropriate technical and organizational measures, taking into account the state of the art.
Provision of data to third parties
The COKZ does not share personal data with processors without the prior, explicit consent of the data subjects, unless there are legal obligations, for example in the context of investigations by judicial organizations and/or supervisory authorities and/or for the execution of an agreement.
For checks and inspections, personal data is shared for specific purposes with:
- the Animal Health Service;
- the relevant dairy company;
- CBR regarding the authorization of RMO drivers;
- external research laboratory regarding a national registration platform.
If you access the website or application of a third party via a COKZ website, the terms and privacy rules of the relevant partner or third party apply. You are advised to consult the privacy statement of this partner or third party.
Visitors to the COKZ website
The COKZ processes personal data of users when they use our services and/or because the user provides this data to us themselves. Special and/or sensitive personal data within the meaning of the GDPR will not be processed. The COKZ processes personal data for the purpose of improving the quality of the website, providing services, informing about changes in services and products, better aligning products and services with user preferences, and sending newsletters.
Storage of personal data
The COKZ will not retain personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data are collected. Where legal obligations apply to the retention of data, the COKZ will comply with these. All personal data will be destroyed when it is no longer necessary to retain it.
Information, access to and correction of data and right of objection
The COKZ is always willing to clarify what information about you is collected and for what purpose. You can also always access your data processed by the COKZ and, if desired, have this data modified or deleted. You can also object to receiving information from the COKZ via email and/or telephone.
