What personal data is collected?
To perform our services, we process the following types of personal data from (poultry) farmers and RMO drivers:
- name and address details;
- telephone number(s);
- date of birth (only RMO drivers and employees);
- photos (the COKZ tries to avoid including people in photos that may be taken on-site during an inspection or audit, but cannot completely eliminate this);
- any notes regarding inappropriate behavior for the protection of its own staff during checks and inspections;
- name of the veterinarian associated with the livestock farmer;
- email address.
For applicants:
- name and address details;
- email address;
- curriculum Vitae;
- motivation letter;
- telephone number (if applicable);
- notes.
Applicant data is not retained and is deleted no later than one month after the vacancy closes. Resumes are stored for a maximum of one year only with the applicant’s consent.
Personal Data Security
COKZ handles personal data confidentially and with the utmost care. Stored personal data is only accessible to COKZ employees to the extent necessary for their position. COKZ protects its data against loss and/or any form of unlawful use or processing. COKZ uses appropriate technical and organizational measures, taking into account the state of the art.
Disclosure of data to third parties
The COKZ does not share personal data with processors without the prior, explicit consent of the data subjects, unless there are legal obligations, for example, in the context of investigations by judicial organizations and/or supervisory bodies and/or to execute an agreement.
For checks and inspections, personal data is shared for certain purposes with:
- the Animal Health Service;
- the dairy company in question;
- the CBR (Central Office for Motor Vehicle Driver Testing) regarding the authorization of RMO drivers;
- an external research laboratory regarding the national registration platform.

If you access a third-party website or application via a COKZ website, the terms and conditions and privacy policies of that partner or third party apply. We recommend that you consult the privacy statement of this partner or third party.
COKZ Website Visitors
COKZ processes users’ personal data when they use our services and/or because users provide it to us. Special and/or sensitive personal data within the meaning of the GDPR will not be processed. COKZ processes personal data to improve the quality of the website, provide services, inform you about changes to services and products, better tailor products and services to user preferences, and send newsletters.
Retention of Personal Data
The COKZ will not retain personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected. If there are legal obligations for data retention, the COKZ will comply with these. All personal data will be destroyed when it is no longer required.
Information, Access and Correction of Data, and the Right to Object
The COKZ is always willing to clarify what information about you is collected and for what purpose. You can also access your data processed by the COKZ at any time and have it modified or deleted if desired. You can also object to receiving information from the COKZ by email and/or telephone.
